What is Restorative Dentistry?

Most people know the importance of a winning smile—it can boost confidence, affect first impressions, and contribute significantly to overall health. Restorative dentistry in San Clemente plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and aesthetics of a smile.

We are pleased to offer high-quality restorative dentistry at our practice. Restorative dentistry is a specific branch focused on restoring the health and function of your smile following tooth damage, tooth decay, or tooth loss.

What To Expect At Your Appointment

Our caring dentist, Dr. Sorge, will carefully examine your smile when you visit our dental office. Based on this examination, we can provide you with the best possible recommendations for restoring your smile.

Once you are ready, Dr. Sorge will carefully place your chosen dental restoration. He will ensure the restoration is fitted correctly and aligned with your bite to prevent discomfort or further damage to the surrounding teeth and gums. Our team can also provide instructions on caring for your new restoration to ensure its longevity and effectiveness.

Our Restorative Treatments

We offer several restorative dental options to meet your individual dental needs. Whether you are missing one tooth, several teeth, or all of your teeth, we are here to provide you with the restorative dentistry solutions you need. We also offer options for restoring significantly decayed or damaged teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants can seem daunting for those who have lost a tooth or several teeth. However, once you consult with our team, it becomes clear that dental implants are an excellent option for filling those gaps. Essentially, dental implants are small titanium posts placed into the jawbone to act as the root of a tooth. We top them with a crown that looks and functions just like a natural tooth. During a consultation, Dr. Sorge will discuss your needs and determine if dental implants are the right solution. Don’t let dental implants scare you – the benefits of a full and healthy smile are well worth it!

All-On-4s

Are you tired of dealing with dentures that constantly slip and slide around or the hassle of replacing missing teeth with bridges and crowns? Fortunately, there’s a cutting-edge solution that can restore your smile and your confidence. All-on-4 dental implants are a game-changer for anyone dealing with extensive tooth loss. We design this advanced implant procedure to provide a fixed, permanent set of teeth that look and function just like natural teeth.

Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are an effective and cost-efficient way of restoring decayed teeth and improving oral health. With proper dental hygiene and regular dental checkups, dental fillings can last for many years. So, don’t hesitate to get dental fillings if you have cavities or tooth decay. Your teeth and your wallet will thank you for it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At first, I was really bummed when I learned that my Dentist of over 20 yrs. was retiring, and another Dentist would be taking over his practice. I figured I’d stay with the new one and see how it goes. Well, many years later, I realize that Dr. Sorge was Dr. Sanders choice to takeover his patients for a reason. Dr. Sorge and his staff have been awesome. I highly recommend him because of his professionalism, honesty, compassion and a genuine desire to do what’s best for his clients.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Sorge is a great dentist especially since he uses an All Tussue Laser. He’s easy to talk with and he genuinely has concerns about oral health
Dana O’Toole is a wonderful hygienist and really enjoy having her clean my teeth.
Feb 2026: Recently Dr Sorge performed the NightLase procedure on me to lessen my snoring. It hasn’t stopped my snoring but it definitely has lessen it. I’m so glad that he replaced his Biolase iPlus laser with a Fotona LightWalker laser
